Maintenance Operative
in
Waterford.
Thisa hands-on position where your skills in keeping things running smoothly are valued.

You'll be responsible for a wide range of upkeep and repair duties, reporting to the relevant person in charge and working closely with the team on site.
The job includes a variety of tasks each day, and you'll need to be flexible to cover different shifts, including some evenings and weekends.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Carry out regular maintenance checks and address issues as needed
Complete general repairs, painting, decorating, and cleaning throughout the premises
Manage gardening and keep outdoor areas tidy
Handle waste disposal and ensure bins are clean and maintained
Work with contractors as required and oversee maintenance contracts
Adhere to health, safety, and fire regulations at all times
Respond to emergencies and incidents, updating records accurately
Support the team during inspections and audits
What Are We Looking For?
:
Valid certificates in Infection Control, Manual Handling & Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (or willingness to complete training)
Solid experience in general maintenance duties
Full Irish Driver's Licence
Ability to undertake physical work and operate tools safely
Reliable, safety-focused, and professional approach
