Do you need to complete a work placement as part of your college course? Are you currently studying a Master's in Data Science, Statistics or related field?
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland is seeking to fill a placement opportunity during 2026. These are being offered to current Master students wanting to gain relevant experience in the Data Science, Statistics or related field.
By joining the FSAI team as a placement student, you will gain an excellent understanding and appreciation of how food safety regulation works. You will get the opportunity to develop vital skills that will support your studies and future career while working with a team of FSAI specialists.
You will be involved in project work and research, gaining valuable on-the-job practical experience and getting exposure to a range of FSAI work activities and learning opportunities.
These placement opportunities will be of interest to you if you are looking to gain relevant experience in your field of interest. The placement will be for 6-month(s) student placement (May - November 2026 Full time at 35 hours a week or 1 June 2026 – 30 September 2026 at 35 hours a week 1 October 2026 to 31 December 2026 at 20 hours a week)
