The Technical Product Owner works cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to turn complex user needs into technically robust, scalable solutions. Responsibilities include driving product discovery, managing a technical backlog, and ensuring architectural alignment.
Responsibilities:
* Facilitate domain discovery sessions (e.g., user story mapping, event storming)
* Define clear, testable acceptance criteria using structured techniques (e.g., Gherkin)
* Own and manage a technical product backlog, including enablers and tech debt
* Translate business requirements into actionable technical user stories
* Collaborate with architects and developers to guide implementation
* Ensure consistent communication between technical and non-technical teams
* Proactively identify and address technical risks and constraints
Requirements:
* At least 3 years of experience in a Technical Product Owner or Technical Product Manager role
* Strong foundation in software engineering principles and Agile practices
* Experience with domain-driven design and managing non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, security)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proven track record of delivering complex, technically sound products
* Prior experience in EdTech or enterprise SaaS preferred
