Senior Commercial Energy ConsultantLocation: Munster
Our client, one of Ireland’s leading energy supply companies, is seeking a Senior Commercial Energy Consultant to join their growing commercial sales team. This is a senior, revenue-generating role focused on developing and closing high-value commercial energy projects, primarily large-scale solar PV and battery solutions.
The Role
This is a commercially focused position where you will be responsible for generating new business, managing complex sales cycles, and delivering tailored energy solutions to commercial clients. You will work closely with internal technical and project teams to ensure a smooth transition from signed contract through to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Prioritise, manage, and engage with high-potential commercial sales leads.
Plan, schedule, and carry out detailed site surveys with prospective clients.
Lead technical discussions to understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.
Manage complex, high-value projects from initial lead through to contract signing.
Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure a seamless handover once orders are secured.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline, providing reports as required.
Stay up to date with product developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
Keep customers informed on technology updates, subsidies, and grid connection developments.

What We’re Looking For

Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within commercial solar, energy, or technical solutions.
Experience closing complex, high-value commercial projects.
Technical sales background or relevant technical qualifications are advantageous.
Electrical qualifications or experience highly desirable.
Strong customer focus with a consultative sales approach.
Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven.
Commercially astute with strong relationship-building skills.
Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using CRM systems.
Full, clean Irish driving licence.
