Fehily Timoney and Company (FT) is one of Ireland's largest specialist consultancies in sustainable infrastructure, circular economy, and renewable energy.
FT is recruiting a Principal Engineer to join the Energy team in one of our Cork, Dublin, or Carlow offices. The successful candidate will support the growth of our Energy and Planning division, working closely with experienced professionals on a wide range of renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review technical reports to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Plan and oversee design activities in close collaboration with project teams.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Contribute to preparation of tenders and proposals.
Provide line management and leadership to team members.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance systems, management procedures, and health and safety legislation.
Coordinate effectively with colleagues and other team members across disciplines.
Qualifications
A degree in Civil Engineering.
At least 12 years of post-graduate experience.
Chartered Engineer status.
Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
Proven experience engaging with external stakeholders, clients, and sub-contractors.
Adaptable, collaborative, and a team player.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Full, clean driving licence.
Experience managing preliminary civil design of renewable energy projects is advantageous.
