Pay Range: $19.00 - $28.75 per hour (based on experience). (Additional $1.00 per hour worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

Responsibilities
* To maintain and direct all maintenance activities, ensuring that all hatchery equipment is operating safely and at peak efficiency.
* Maintain and monitor a parts inventory that is economical and within budgeted costs.
* Responsible for general maintenance of equipment and buildings.
* Maintains a parts inventory, to include ordering and receiving of the same.
* Conducts plant safety audits.
* Coordinates and complies with plant preventative maintenance programs.
* Completes special projects as needed.
* Does electrical troubleshooting, A/C and/or electronics.
* Provides hatchery relief labor under emergency situation.
Qualifications
* Must be able to monitor and direct maintenance personnel so that all job requests are completed in a safe and timely manner.
* Must be able to monitor and control a parts inventory in a cost-effective manner that is within budgeted costs.
* Must have basic math skills.
* Must have strong organizational skills.
* Must be able to move 100 pounds.
* Must have strong welding skills.
* Must have good electrical knowledge.
* 4 – 6 years experience in the hatcheries.
* Must maintain an acceptable DMV record.
* Pallet jack and forklift training.
* Respirator training.
