The role
Brightwater are delighted to partner with a Top 20 progressive and proactive Audit, Tax, Accounting and Business Advisory firm based in Central Dublin. Due to phenomenal growth they are currently seeking to add Audit Seniors and Audit Mangers to join their team of accountants and tax professionals on a permanent basis.The successful candidates will lead and oversee audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, managing audit teams, and communicating findings to directors and partners. They play a crucial role in risk management and developing audit plans and will manage and work with clients and their teams.Key responsibilities will includeReview and control all assignment outputsReview audit file and ensure it is complete in accordance with best auditing practiceIdentify significant problems in the client’s operations and recommend appropriate action by utilising expertise from the assignment team or elsewhere in the firmPerform detailed tasks including work of an advanced technical natureMaintain contact with client during engagement including attendance at client meetingsContinue to develop technical skills through reading or attending courses and maintain minimum CPD requirementsHave a good knowledge of the effect of taxes on a set of accountsHave a good knowledge of the technical aspects concerning a set of accountsMeet annual chargeable targets and monitor portfolio and raise bills for approvalIdentify added value items for the client and highlight to managerCommunicate and build excellent relationships with clientsBe the expert in the knowledge of the client’s business; develop positive commercial relationships with clientsMotivate and encourage a positive working environment; contribute to managers’ work planner, resource management, support managers in client commitment and deadlinesSupervise and train team members and offer constructive feedbackIn order to succeed, the ideal candidate shouldQualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/CPA) with minimum 3 years’ experience working in audit in a small to medium sized practice environment.Good attention to detail and time management skills.Experience of consolidation and group accounts is a distinct advantage.Strong technical knowledge.Strong IT skillset, including experience with audit and accounting software applications.Thrive when working as part of a team.RenumerationHealth InsurancePensionHybrid working (After probation)25 days annual leaveFor more information on this role or any other Accountancy roles contact Conal O'Connor on 01 5927858, or click on the apply button belowTo view all live jobs with Brightwater and market insights, please visit our website; www.brightwater.ie
