The Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for Sales and Development of the Victaulic HVAC products and systems in Ireland.
What you will do:
* Promote the Victaulic System for binding application and HVAC solutions.
* Report on a weekly basis to the Sales Director on activities and marketing information & achieve the budgeted sale and results.
* Field demonstrates the proper installation of the Victaulic system.
* Pursue and obtain the acceptance and specification of the Victaulic System by Owners and Engineering Consulting companies.
* Ensure that the proper knowledge of the Victaulic solutions and system is present in the Milan region, through usage of adequate means such as seminars, training, technical literature, and technical support.
* Liaise with the local Victaulic distributor and ensure the proper information flow is available and maintained.
* Visit job sites and follow up on the installation process of the Victaulic System by the contractor. Train the contractor's personnel in usage and installation of the Victaulic system if required.
* Handle product claims in cooperation with the Victaulic Corporate Engineering department.
* Provide assistance to finance personnel in collecting receivables from customers.
* Co-ordinate with other sales colleagues in the territory.
About you:
* University / College degree, preferably as a mechanical engineer, or demonstrate equivalent.
* You live in the central area of Ireland.
* Technical knowledge acquired through experience (minimum 5 years).
* Familiarity with the piping business - or show the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.
* You have commercial feeling and ambition and a customer-oriented approach.
* Result-driven - The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing challenges.
* Willing to travel as required (up to 75%).
* Has strong communication skills and professional appearance.
* Can communicate fluently in English.
