The role involves overseeing technical operations related to the management and leasing of a modern aircraft fleet. Key responsibilities include leading technical due diligence, managing asset acquisitions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic growth. The Vice President of Technical will also be responsible for optimizing technical processes to enhance fleet performance and value.QualificationsDegree in Engineering or Aerospace/Aircraft Technology(Bachelor's or higher) and or Professional certifications such as EASA FAA, or equivalent licensure. Ideally 5- 6 years of technical experience within a leasing firm;Proficiency in reviewing & negotiating technical clauses in LOIs, lease agreements, and purchase/sale contractsStrong knowledge in pre-purchase inspections, delivery/redelivery, and technical due diligence.Experience in overseeing maintenance reserve claims, cost forecasting, and residual value assessments.Proven hands-on experience with aircraft transitions, fleet audits, and asset value retention.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detailSolid understanding of the aviation industry and aircraft technical management is a plusStrong leadership with ability to direct teams, external consultants, and vendor relationships.
