Little Harvard is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Assistant Manager
to help lead our busy, welcoming early years centre in North Dublin. If you have a passion for childcare, strong leadership skills, and want to work in a close-knit community, this is the perfect next step in your career.
About The Role
As Assistant Manager, you'll work alongside our Centre Manager to ensure every child receives outstanding care and education. You'll lead and inspire our team, maintain the highest standards of compliance, and create an environment where children, families, and staff thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Centre Manager in delivering exceptional early years education and care
* Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of talented early years educators
* Ensure full compliance with Tusla, ECCE, and all childcare regulations
* Build warm, professional relationships with parents and guardians
* Assist with daily operations, including rosters, audits, and curriculum planning
* Step confidently into the Manager role when needed
What We're Looking For
* Minimum Level 6 Early Childhood Care and Education qualification
* Previous experience in a leadership or senior educator position
* Strong knowledge of Aistear, Síolta, and best practice in early years learning
* Excellent organisational, communication, and team leadership skills
* Calm, proactive problem-solver with a child-first mindset
