About the Role
The successful Project Planner will be responsible for generating project schedules, monitoring progress, and preparing weekly and monthly reports.
You will work closely with the project team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Communicate with project stakeholders to provide assistance and support
* Review project deliverables and initiate corrective actions as needed
* Prepare schedules, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects
* Maintain compliance with applicable codes, quality assurance, and quality control policies
* Identify items of interest or concern and establish recovery methods
* Report internally and to clients as necessary
* Compare actual costs to estimates and supervise staff in carrying out plans
* Travel to suppliers, conferences, and manufacturing facilities as required
Requirements
* Rélevant 3rd level qualification
* 3+ years' experience in project planning, preferably in industrial construction or mechanical engineering areas
* Previous experience working on site-based projects
* Strong commercial management background and awareness
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project Management & Primavera P6 portfolio management software
* Excellent presentation & IT skills
* A positive attitude, passion to succeed, energetic approach, and ability to take accountability
* Ability to contribute comfortably as part of a team
