Clinical Facilitator Job Description
The role of Clinical Facilitator is crucial in guiding and supporting nurses and healthcare assistants in clinical practice, promoting high standards of nursing care, quality improvement projects, research, and policy development.
Responsibilities
* Guide and support nurses and healthcare assistants in clinical practice.
* Work as part of the Nurse Practice Development team to promote high standards of nursing care.
* Promote a clinical learning environment.
Requirements
* Registered in the General Division of the register kept by Nursing and Midwifery Board Ireland.
* BSc Nursing Degree required. A Masters Degree is highly desirable.
A good knowledge of the Irish Health Service is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will require excellent communication skills with a keen interest in education.
