Facilities & Maintenance Lead – Manufacturing | Westmeath
An established and forward-thinking manufacturing company is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Lead to take ownership of site facilities and drive continuous improvement across a busy, high-performing environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role offering the opportunity to make a real impact across operations, sustainability, and site performance.
Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of all site facilities including buildings, utilities, and infrastructure
Manage and deliver a planned preventive maintenance programme across all assets
Lead and develop a small facilities and support team, driving performance and accountability
Oversee contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost control
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Monitor and optimise utilities, identifying opportunities for energy efficiency and cost savings
Lead facilities-related projects including upgrades, refurbishments, and site improvements
Requirements
Proven experience in facilities management within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong technical knowledge of building services, utilities, and maintenance systems
Experience leading teams and managing external contractors
Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance standards
