Housing Officer Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Housing Officer to join our team in Kilkenny. As a key member of our housing department, you will play a vital role in supporting tenants and ensuring successful tenancies.

* To facilitate successful tenancies by providing essential services related to the management of tenancies and addressing breaches of tenure with our Support Team.
* To work within the overall Framework of KVHA, Its Mission and policies.
* To respect diversity and promote an inclusive environment for all tenants.
Job Description:
The role will involve managing a designated patch of housing and keeping regular contact with tenants. You will also be responsible for looking after rental income, dealing with repairs, neighbour nuisance issues, monitoring potential breaches of tenure, and ensuring preventive strategies are in place.
Duties Include:
* Interviewing perspective new tenants according to KVHA Allocations Policy
* Inducting new tenants on their responsibilities as a tenant
* Promoting KVHA Good Neighbour Policy
You will ensure that all required paperwork is fulfilled including housing offers/ refusals, tenancy sign up inventories communication with local authorities all in line with KVHA policy.
