They have a requirement for a skilled and dedicated Lithographic Print Operator to join their production team and operate our state-of-the-art B1 press.
The Lithographic Print Operator will be a key member of their production team, responsible for the high-quality, efficient, and safe operation of their B1 Komori press.
This is a hands-on role requiring proven experience, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a world-class printing environment.
Key Responsibilities: Press Operation: Efficiently set up and operate the B1 Komori 5-colour press with an in-line coater and appropriate drying systems to produce a wide range of high-quality printed products.
Production Maximisation: Utilise skills and experience to run the press at optimal speeds, troubleshooting issues as they arise to maximise production output and minimise downtime.
Quality Control: Perform and accurately record thorough quality checks throughout the print run to ensure all products meet the company's exacting standards and client specifications.
Preparation: Prepare all necessary printing materials, including mounting plates, mixing inks, and preparing the board and paper stock for the job.
Coordination & Communication: Liaise with the Production Manager and Prepress Manager to ensure jobs are produced correctly, colour-matched, and completed on time to meet strict delivery schedules.
Maintenance: Carry out routine cleaning and maintenance of the press as per the manufacturers recommended guidelines to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable machine operation.
Required Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience working on a lithographic printing press is essential.
Demonstrable experience operating a B1 size offset press; direct experience with Komori presses is highly desirable.
A strong understanding of the lithographic printing process, colour theory (CMYK and Pantone), and finishing systems (in-line coating).
Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Job Details: Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary:€DOE (Dependent on Experience) Schedule: 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday Day shift and Night shift rotations may be required.
