Job Title: Theatre Anaesthetic Recovery Nurse
The UPMC Whitfield Hospital is recruiting a Theatre Anaesthetic Recovery Nurse for a permanent position, contributing to patient care and the hospital's success. The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week, assisting in various specialties such as orthopaedic, general, ophthalmology, and more.
1. Assist in theatre anaesthetic recovery nurse duties.
2. Develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice.
3. Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication.
The ideal candidate will have experience in theatre nursing, hold a theatre qualification (desirable), and possess basic life support training. They will also have knowledge of infection control, quality and risk management, and health & safety.
