Senior Finance Manager – 13-15 month fixed-term contract
A global top-tier law firm, serving leading international clients, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their finance management team on a 13-15 month fixed-term contract.
About the Role
As Senior Finance Manager, you will lead a team of four finance professionals, drive financial reporting excellence, and collaborate closely with senior management and business partners.
You will oversee month-end reporting, budgeting, year-end accounts, statutory audits, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Financial Reporting team (1 Finance Manager and 3 trainees)
Manage monthly management accounts and month-end close processes
Coordinate annual budgeting and year-end accounts preparation
Partner with department heads to monitor budgets and support business decisions
Manage statutory audit processes and implement audit recommendations
Review and approve financial statements for presentation to the Audit Committee
Provide regular financial performance updates to the Finance Director and senior leaders
About You
ACA or ACCA qualified with 5+ years management experience
Strong communication skills to engage with finance teams and stakeholders
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex finance issues
Self-motivated with strong time management, able to meet tight deadlines
Intermediate to advanced Excel user
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities
