We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Assistant to join our Tax Department. This exciting opportunity involves providing comprehensive secretarial support, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing the monthly invoicing process and ensuring compliance with client requirements.
* Collaborating with the Credit Control team to handle invoicing queries and outstanding payments.
* Assisting with client onboarding, including preparing Letters of Engagement and maintaining electronic files.
* Producing accurate emails and documents with high attention to detail.
* Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for partners and team members.
* Supporting business development initiatives and related administrative tasks.
* Handling diary and email management, proactively addressing any necessary actions.
* Arranging and managing MS Teams conference calls.
* Processing expenses for allocated staff.
* Creating and coordinating professional PowerPoint presentations.
* Collaborating with IT to organize meetings and seminars.
* Updating and managing lawyers CPD records.
* Maintaining and managing the Client Relationship Database.
Requirements:
* At least 6 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a professional services setting.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with document management systems such as iManage.
* A post-secondary qualification or significant relevant work experience may be considered.
* Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
* A high level of integrity, discretion, and trust when handling confidential information.
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
