Job Summary:
The Garage Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our HGV garage. This key management position involves managing workshop teams, allocating work to mechanics, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing workshop operations, including allocation of work and maintenance of job cards.
2. Sourcing parts and ensuring they are allocated correctly to jobs in a timely manner.
3. Maintaining high standards of work ethic, punctuality, and accountability.
4. Phone-based bookings and diary management for efficient workflow.
5. Ensuring fleet servicing and maintenance meet regulatory requirements.
6. Up-to-date management and maintenance records.
7. Collaboration with administrative staff for accurate job card conversion into invoices.
Requirements:
* Extensive knowledge and experience in the HGV or mechanical industry.
* Full HGV license (preferable).
* Highly organized individual with excellent communication skills.
