About Clarinbridge Care Centre
Clarinbridge Care Centre is an award-winning 56-bed facility with a dedicated Acquired Brain Injury/Spinal unit. We are currently seeking caring, empathetic, and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join our team.
Role Responsibilities
1. Supporting nursing staff in delivering quality, person-centered care tailored to residents' needs.
2. Getting to know residents' interests and needs, providing attention, support, and companionship.
3. Promoting residents' mobility, supervising, and assisting to maintain and improve mobility where possible.
4. Enabling residents to maintain personal appearance and hygiene with dignity.
5. Assisting residents with eating, drinking, and achieving physical comfort.
6. Participating in, organizing, and carrying out social activities.
7. Maintaining high communication standards with residents' families and staff to foster good relationships.
8. Assisting in maintaining cleanliness standards within the home.
9. Contributing to health and safety standards in the home.
10. Performing any other duties as directed by the Nurse in Charge and management.
Qualifications and Skills
* FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare.
* Experience working in a healthcare environment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Positive attitude.
* Fluent in English, both written and oral.
