**Senior Process Safety Engineer Role Overview**
At our company, we're expanding our Process Safety team in the area of Pressure Relief Device (PRD) sizing. As a highly experienced Senior Process Safety Engineer, you'll be responsible for originating and checking PRD sizing calculations for Pressure Relief Valves, Bursting/Rupture Discs and Conservation & Breather Vents as per International Standards in API. Your expertise will also be utilized in generating Pressure Relief Philosophy documents and problem-solving complex process systems for pressure relief solution options.
* Originating and checking PRD sizing calculations for Pressure Relief Valves, Bursting/Rupture Discs and Conservation & Breather Vents as per International Standards in API.
* Generating Pressure Relief Philosophy documents.
* Problem solving potentially complex process systems for pressure relief solution options.
* Providing technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced Process Engineers working on PRD calculations.
We seek candidates with:
* A degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills essential.
* Experience in Pressure Relief Device (PRD) sizing calculations in Pharma / Bio-Pharma / O&G sectors on Client side / EPC side.
* Minimum 15 years' experience, with over 20 years preferred, in Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical process design, preferably with an EPC firm working on PFDs, P&IDs, Equipment sizing and PRD calculations.
* Self-motivated and self-driven.
* Strong awareness of process safety engineering.
* Design experience with clients from Europe and the USA is an advantage.
