Job Description:
In this pivotal role, you will provide critical support to our documentation systems and ancillary support systems. As a key member of our team, you will help execute strategies and programs, as well as create, develop and implement tools, solutions and initiatives that align with our group's vision and purpose.
A Typical Day
* Providing guidance, mentoring and training to Document Control and Records Management staff and user departments in proper use of the document/record management systems.
* Ensuring all systems and processes are compliant with regulatory and industry standards.
* In-depth knowledge of risk assessments in identifying data integrity risk within electronic systems and paper processes.
* Developing, evaluating and providing guidance for improvement on ongoing electronic and paper document management systems.
* Acting as a change agent by promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
* Measuring impact of changes using key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Staying informed about emerging trends and technologies to future-proof systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identifying the needs of the organization for document storage, retrieval and lifecycle management.
2. Developing and overseeing the creation of tools, resources and programs to improve document/record quality and promote good writing.
3. Collaborating with management and business to continuously assess and adjust programs and processes to support business needs.
4. Coordinating review and revision of controlled documents, inclusive of other sites.
Requirements
* Proficient in electronic systems metadata and audit trail review.
* In-depth knowledge of risk assessments in identifying data integrity risk within electronic systems and paper processes.
* Critical thinking mindset and proficient in problem-solving.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree with 2 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
