Role Overview: They are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead their growth initiatives across the Island of Ireland. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying new business opportunities, developing existing client relationships, and managing key accounts to drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction sector, focusing on main and top-tier contractors. Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets and expand client base. Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities. Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients. Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly. Work with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and services. Sales & Marketing: Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits while ensuring client satisfaction. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions. Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets. Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities and market insights. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years experience in business development or sales within the construction industry, preferably gained within a modular construction environment. Proven track record of securing contracts with main or top-tier contractors. Strong understanding of the construction landscape in Ireland, including key players and market dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and travel across Ireland as required.
