Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Office Manager to lead the Project Management Office (PMO) in the delivery of a portfolio of strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding programs through procurement, proposal, due diligence, and implementation phases, with a strong focus on third-party and vendor management.
This contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact technology and organisational change projects within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Program Management Office and oversee the execution of multiple programs and projects.
* Manage program planning, governance, reporting, and stakeholder communications at all levels.
* Ensure effective delivery across scope, time, budget, and quality objectives, in alignment with corporate project standards.
* Lead program activities through procurement, vendor selection, and implementation phases.
* Maintain detailed project documentation including milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
* Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and key business stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery.
* Support the development of integrated plans that align internal IT, business functions, and third-party providers.
* Manage program approvals, change control processes, and ensure compliance with internal procurement, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* A minimum of 15 years’ experience in project and program management, with proven delivery across infrastructure, application, and organisational change initiatives.
* Experience leading PMO functions and managing project managers.
* A strong background in vendor management and procurement processes.
* Proficiency in both Agile and traditional delivery methodologies.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* A pragmatic, collaborative approach with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
