The role involves providing strategic direction, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering visionary leadership to the Department. Working closely with the Head of Faculty, the Head of Department supports the achievement of SETU's strategic objectives within the Arts and Humanities domain. The successful candidate will play a leading role in driving innovation in programme development and in fostering a dynamic, research-intensive academic environment with strong regional, national, and international engagement. A core focus of the role is to ensure that academic programmes remain closely aligned with current and emerging industry requirements, thereby supporting and meeting the evolving workforce needs of the culinary arts, hospitality, and tourism sectors. This position is central to SETU's mission of delivering high-quality education and impactful research that responds to regional and national workforce demands.
