**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Facilities Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily maintenance and upkeep of the hospital, working closely with the facilities maintenance team and external contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage line management responsibility of porters, housekeeping staff, and catering staff.
* Work closely with the facilities manager and substitute when facilities manager is off site.
* Oversight of daily working pattern for the Front of House team to meet operational needs of the hospital.
* Assist front of house supervisors in drawing up rotas and service scheduling.
* Monitor compliance with environmental cleaning audits and follow up actions.
* Coordinate repair and maintenance jobs in a safe and compliant manner.
Requirements:
* Previous relevant experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
* Experience in supervision of a large team is advantageous.
* Facilities Management experience is desirable.
* Knowledge of hygiene standards, infection control, and HACCP would be beneficial.
