Duty Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to lead the efficient operation and ongoing development of our busy restaurant/bar located in Westport. The successful candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring a consistently high standard of service is delivered to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar
2. Prepare staff rosters and submit weekly timesheets for payroll processing
3. Provide leadership that promotes a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for staff and customers
4. Execute exceptional customer service where customer concerns are addressed effectively
5. Maximise training and development opportunities for the staff team and ensure compliance with company procedures
Requirements:
* Hospitality experience in different settings showing progression to supervisory/management level
* Minimum of 2 years hands-on work experience in Supervisory role in a busy bar/restaurant environment
* Relevant hospitality industry qualification ideally coupled with Health & Safety related certification preferred
* Hands on experience of rostering, cash management, waste management, and purchasing
* Proven experience of handling customer queries/complaints and delivering first class customer service
