We are looking for an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for implementation of new products and technologies for our plant in Burnfoot.
Job Responsibilities
Provides technical support to production plants during the introduction of new products
Identifies and defines areas for improvement in manufacturing processes
Provides information to the R&D department regarding materials, components, and assembly procedures based on current and planned manufacturing technologies
Prepares, designs, and implements new investments in manufacturing technologies
Manages priorities in change management processes and oversees their implementation
Supports and manages prototype and beta series builds and prepares related reports
Trains local engineering teams on new products and accessories
Evaluates assigned cost‑saving programs and identifies opportunities for improvement
Manages the preparation and creation of work and test instructions
Creates production process flow diagrams
Manages project teams to ensure on‑time implementation of new products
Prepares analyses for make‑or‑buy decisions
Requirements
Technical university (preferred field: Industrial Engineering, Industrial Systems)
2 years of experience in a similar job position
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, ERP Oracle
Experience with CAD/CAM systems
Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles
Ability to learn and improve company processes
Ability to work in an international environment
