Shop Assistant Position – Part Time

The Role
This position is central to the daily operation of the studio.
We are not looking for a manager title or an aspiring tattoo artist — we're looking for someone accountable, proactive, rigorous, and reliable.
You will be responsible for opening and closing the shop, overseeing reception, and supporting both artists and clients on the days you work. You will also contribute to administrative and marketing tasks that ensure the studio runs efficiently.
Your performance will be evaluated quarterly based on a mix of quantitative and qualitative indicators, with direct feedback from the Studio Owner.
Working Hours & Compensation
* Schedule: 4 days per week, 30 hours in total (Wednesday to Saturday, from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM), with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break (typically from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM).
* Compensation: €22,000 annual base salary plus up to €1,000 performance-based bonus (On-Target Earnings: €23,000). The bonus is paid quarterly based on KPIs and contribution to studio success.
Key Responsibilities
Studio Operations
* Open and close the studio (Cash register, keys, daily checklists)
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio environment
* Manage bookings, payments, emails, phone, and social media messages
* Restock aftercare and front desk supplies; prepare basic artist needs
* Prepare and manage daily stock and supply needs, Run small errands if needed.
* Receive and check deliveries; manage basic inventory.
* Collect and forward invoices to accounting every month.
* Log payment and stock data; compile weekly operational reports
Customer & Artist Experience
* Welcome clients warmly and guide them through the entire studio process
* Ensure smooth check-in/check-out, including payments and aftercare guidance
* Address customer issues or questions; escalate when needed
* Maintain a professional, service-minded attitude
* Offer practical support to artists throughout the day (bookings, photos/videos assistance)
Content & Visibility
* Capture photo and video content regularly (with client consent)
* Organize and send weekly media packages to the HQ social media manager
Recruitment & Staffing Support
* Filter and organize artist applications
* Help coordinate interviews and trial sessions with the team
* Help schedule interviews with candidates in managers' agendas.
* Support onboarding and orientation of new team members or guests
Performance Evaluation
Quarterly reviews will assess your contribution based on:
* 10 Google Reviews per week
* 10 Aftercare product sales per week
* Revenue objectives defined with the Studio Owner / HQ
* Studio cleanliness and operational standards
* Client and artist satisfaction
* Frequency and quality of content provided
* Proactive involvement in staffing and studio coordination
You will also check in with HQ weekly to share updates and receive feedback.
An initial evaluation will take place after the first month, followed by quarterly reviews.
