This role is responsible for the effective control of project expenditure, ensuring compliance with contractual reimbursement principles (e.g., schedules of rates, bills of quantities, and materials on/off-site payments), and the provision ofaccurateandtimely cost advice to support informed decision-making.
Working closely with various Project Management teams, the Senior Cost Management lead is responsible for the preparation and review of cost estimates, the development and maintenanceof the schedule of rates or bills of quantities and ensures that cost control processes are rigorously applied.
This role is accountable for the assessment of monthly payment applications, valuation of completed works and materials, and the preparation of final accounts, while continuously monitoring anticipated final costs to ensure alignment with budgetary objectives.
