About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join our Global Payroll team, supporting payroll across EMEA.
This role has primary responsibility for UK & Ireland payroll, along with coordination and review of payroll across France, Germany, Singapore, and Australia through established vendors.
In addition to delivering accurate and compliant payroll, you'll support ongoing process improvements and automation initiatives, including the use of AI tools, while working within core payroll systems such as Workday and CloudPay.
What You'll Do
Own end-to-end payroll processing for UK & Ireland
Review and coordinate payroll delivery for:
France
Germany
Singapore
Australia
Partner with CloudPay and in-country vendors to ensure payroll is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time
Use Workday to manage employee data and payroll inputs
Ensure compliance with all local payroll legislation and tax requirements
Partner cross-functionally with:
People Operations & HRBPs
Finance (reconciliations, payroll accounting, reporting)
Benefits

Perform payroll reconciliations, controls, and audit support
Support month-end and year-end payroll activities
Identify and drive process improvements, including:
Streamlining and automating manual processes
Leveraging AI tools for data validation, anomaly detection, and reporting insights
What We're Looking For
5+ years of payroll experience
Strong expertise in:
UK & Ireland payroll (essential)
Experience working in a multi-country payroll environment
Experience with:
Workday (HCM and/or payroll inputs)
CloudPay or similar global payroll provider
Strong understanding of:
Payroll compliance and statutory requirements
Payroll reconciliations and reporting
Exposure to or interest in automation and AI within payroll or finance operations
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and regions
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience supporting payroll in at least one of the following countries:
France
Germany
Singapore
Exposure to Australia payroll
Experience with payroll transformation or system implementations

This role may require up to 10% travel for purposes such as new hire onboarding, client or partner work, team meetings, and industry events.
Travel is coordinated in advance.
Compensation
Base Pay Range in Local Currency: €56,000 — €84,000 EUR
In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
