Senior Mental Health Specialist
We are seeking a seasoned mental health professional to fill the role of Senior Mental Health Specialist in our Psychiatry of Old Age department.
The successful candidate will work closely with our senior leadership team and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, management, and consultation services for adults aged 65+ and those with age-related mental health needs.
Clinical Duties:
* Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care through comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing support.
* Team Leadership: Lead the multidisciplinary team in case formulation, treatment planning, and review, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication among team members.
* Consultation Services: Provide expert consultation services to healthcare professionals, promoting best practices in mental health care for older adults.
Professional Development:
The ideal candidate will be committed to staying up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in psychiatry, particularly in the area of geriatric mental health.
Communication and Collaboration:

Educational Requirements:
* Hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialist training in psychiatry.
* Hold a valid medical license to practice in the country.
Experience:
Candidates must have extensive experience working in geriatric psychiatry, preferably in a senior leadership role.
Familiarity with relevant software applications and electronic medical records systems is essential.
