Job Description:
At Analog Devices Automotive Business Unit, you will be able to work together with a global team, who has designed and introduced many successful products that won sockets from top car makers in Europe, Asia, and the USA. We, as GMSL SerDes group, are developing integrated circuits for automotive high-speed serial data communications for next generation safety and infotainment systems.
As an analog design engineer, you will be part of a global design team, and have opportunity to work with cross functional teams to design complex mixed-signal integrated circuits developed in GMSL SerDes group. You will generate creative solutions for a variety of needs such as high resolution, high accuracy, low power, low current, and high speed. You will be designing mixed-signal circuits containing high-speed transceivers, high-performance PLL's, Clock and Data Recovery Circuits, application specific amplifiers, and many others.
Main responsibilities:
* Supporting feasibility and definition of product requirements of high-speed data communication products with the Product Definer responsible of the product
* Schematic design and layout supervision of owned blocks
* Block and top-level AMS and transistor level verification
* Bench validation and characterization of owned functions, supervision of characterization engineers
* Working with test engineers in helping them finalizing their test hardware and programs towards product characterization and introduction
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
* MSEE with specialization in IC Design (VLSI).
* Min. 8+ years of experience in Analog IC design
* High speed and low power CMOS Analog IC Design and Verification experience
* Good transistor-level analysis skills and a working knowledge of analog/mixed-signal circuit design and layout tools and methodologies.
* Experience in high-speed bench validation and characterization
* Demonstrated experience in taking an IC through product definition, design, layout, evaluation, and release to production
* Signal processing skills and facility with MATLAB are a plus.
* Good Communication / presentation skills in English and teamwork skills
