Morgan Stanley Investment Management ("MSIM"), along with its investment advisory affiliates, has over 1,300 investment professionals worldwide and manages or supervises $1.6 trillion in assets as of March 31, 2025. MSIM aims to deliver outstanding long-term investment performance, service, and a comprehensive suite of investment management solutions to a diverse client base, including governments, institutions, corporations, and individuals globally.
MSIM Fund Management (Ireland) Limited ("MSIM FMIL") is the UCITS Management and AIFM of Morgan Stanley Investment Management. The Investment Oversight team within MSIM FMIL ensures that all investment delegates and strategies comply with regulatory requirements, deliver value to investors, and align with the firm’s risk and governance frameworks.
About The Role
The successful candidate will be a member of the Investment Oversight team, reporting to the Designated Person for Investment Management, supporting the following tasks:
Primary Responsibilities
* Producing reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for key stakeholders, including legal entity boards, fund boards, EMEA senior management, and other governance bodies.
* Assisting with operational due diligence and oversight on delegated entities, documenting findings.
* Staying informed of market developments across multiple strategies, identifying emerging trends and regulatory impacts.
* Conducting analysis on performance drivers.
* Maintaining policy and procedure documents.
* Supporting ad hoc projects and conducting in-depth fund/investment analysis.
Skills Required
* Experience in financial services, preferably within asset management.
* Strong academic background; degree or master's level education.
* Professional qualification or willingness to pursue certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or FRM.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Morningstar, Bloomberg, and coding skills are advantageous.
* Ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders globally.
* Familiarity with investment performance and risk methodologies.
* Highly detail-oriented, self-starting, and a team player, capable of maintaining accuracy and effectiveness in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Interest in financial markets and awareness of core activities within investment management.
