Essential Requirements
Registered on the Occupational Therapists board at CORU, or pending completion of registration to be able to commence post by January 2027.
Five years full‑time (or aggregate of five years) post‑registration qualification, of which four years full‑time (or aggregate) post‑registration qualification clinical experience must be in the required area of specialism (relevant acute paediatrics specialities such as neurology, neurosurgery, general paediatrics, respiratory, cardiac, orthopaedics and sufficient experience in a critical care environment).
Demonstrated record of clinical excellence in a specialist area.
Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the required area of specialism, in the form of post‑graduate qualifications or relevant courses.
Achievement in the areas of clinical audit, quality improvement initiatives, practice development, teaching and research.
Evidence of supervising junior staff members and/or students.
