This role demands structured analysis, meticulous documentation, and clear stakeholder communication to ensure no detail is overlooked.Key strengths include:Break complex services into documented 'as-is' components and workflows.Troubleshoot gaps, validate data end-to-end.Communicate clearly and escalates obstacles fast.Ensures go-live matches their analysis.Essential Experience Required8+ years as a Senior Business AnalystProcess mapping (BPMN, L2–L4 or similar)Transformation / insourcing programmesStrong grounding in BABOK or equivalent BA methodologies, Agile etcExperience in process digitisation/automation initiativesAn EU passport or Stamp 4 essential.Familiarity with APQC Process Classification Framework (PCF).Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Lean Six Sigma.Exposure to financial services.Exposure to AI / RPA / SaaS-led operating models.Experience in regulated environments (e.g. asset management, client reporting, fund services).Key ResponsibilitiesDocument current-state processes, workflows, and service model processes (L2–L4).Assess external provider models and capture data flows, controls, and dependencies.Support the design of a future-state Target Operating Model (processes, governance, RACI, controls).Perform gap analysis and define transition/remediation roadmap.Re-engineer processes for automation-first, STP, and exception-based handling.Identify opportunities for AI, RPA, and workflow automation.Define structured business and data requirements (BRD/FRD, mappings, integrations).Support solution design, testing (UAT), and implementation.Engage across Business, Operations, Data, third parties and Technology stakeholders.Outcome FocusSupport the delivery of a clear, audit-ready Target Operating Model.Support the transition of services in-house.Reduction in manual processing and improved operational scalability.
