 
        
        Red Chair Recruitment are presently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer for our clients in County Cork. You will develop, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production of heating products. Working with R&D, Production, and Quality teams, you will ensure efficient, high-quality production by improving processes, supporting new product introductions, maintaining safety and compliance, and driving continuous improvement across all manufacturing operations. This is a permanent full time position.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport New Product Introductions (NPI) and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)Create and maintain Work Instructions, Procedures, and Process DocumentationCoordinate preventive maintenance and manage external contractorsMaintain and update Bills of Material (BOMs)Liaise with suppliers to resolve technical and quality issuesIdentify and implement cost reduction and process improvement opportunitiesPromote Safety, conduct audits, and drive 5S and continuous improvement initiativesSupport ISO and other regulatory audit requirementsAnalyse Quality Data, manage Corrective Actions, and maintain Quality KPIsHandle Supplier Returns and host regular Quality MeetingsSkills & ExperienceStrong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on manufacturing experienceSheet metal fabrication (turret, press brake, welding) and electrical assembly skillsProficient in AutoCAD, Inventor, and ExcelDegree/Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical EngineeringExperience with Lean, 5S, ISO 9001, and ERP systems desirable Salary in the region of €40 – €55,000 is offered.Equal Employment OpportunityWe are an equal opportunities employer.
