Technical Support Associate – Norwegian Speaker | Galway City | Hybrid
Our client, a globally leading company in medical technology and healthcare, is seeking a motivated Technical Support Associate fluent in Norwegian to join their team in Galway, Ireland.
This is a permanent full-time position based primarily on-site in Galway City, reporting directly to the EMEA/APAC Technical Support Team Lead.
Your Responsibilities
Provide professional and friendly support by handling inbound customer calls and emails in Norwegian and English.
Act as the first technical point of contact: analyze and resolve customer queries and complaints related to the assigned product portfolio.
Document all customer interactions accurately according to internal standards.
Clearly communicate investigation findings and solutions to customers via phone and written correspondence.
Prioritize and manage customer inquiries in shared mailboxes according to company processes.
Ensure timely response and resolution to meet individual, team, and company KPIs.
Identify and suggest improvements to enhance the customer experience.
Build and maintain product knowledge and share expertise within the team.
Your Profile
Completed education, certificate, or degree in a relevant field (e.g., science, biomedical, healthcare, nursing, engineering) is an advantage but not mandatory.
Previous experience in a call center or customer-facing role is beneficial.
Full professional fluency in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.
Ideally at least 1 year of experience in a medical/clinical environment or technical support role.
Strong analytical skills, structured working method, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Experience handling complex customer issues and technical troubleshooting.
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent communication skills, team player, and adaptable.
Ability to prioritize tasks independently and take responsibility.
