Optimize Injection Moulding Processes
We are seeking a skilled and driven professional to optimize injection moulding processes, tooling, and automation in our manufacturing operations. This role will focus on developing standard process specifications, optimizing processes using statistical and engineering techniques, and collaborating with production and quality teams to troubleshoot processing issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement efficient injection moulding processes and standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve existing systems and implement lean manufacturing practices.
* Troubleshoot processing issues and provide solutions to ensure high-quality products.
* Work closely with tooling designers and automation teams to design and implement new tools and systems.
* Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with industry standards.
* Assist in employee training on new technologies and process changes.
* Liaise with customers, equipment manufacturers, and raw material suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
* Support real-time monitoring and reporting systems where applicable.
Requirements
* National Diploma in Plastics Engineering (Degree preferred).
* 4–5 years' experience in the injection moulding industry.
* Strong knowledge of injection moulding tooling, processes, and equipment.
* Experience with multi-component moulding and automation systems.
* Familiarity with real-time monitoring systems is a plus.
* In-depth understanding of SPC, DOE, and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Working knowledge of WCM, JIT, SMED, and Kaizen principles.
* Proficiency in MS Office; experience with integrated manufacturing systems (MFG Pro is a plus).
* Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently.
