Workforce/Project Coordinator

The Workforce/Project Coordinator has a responsibility providing resources to support the short- and long-term needs of the organisation. The person we are looking for will have excellent hands-on people skills. He/she will be a ‘people person’, an excellent communicator with a real interest in, and experience of, supporting people through a major organisational change.

Specific Duties:
* Recruitment and retention of staff and contractors. Work closely with approved external vendors to contract high quality external staff to augment internal staff as required.
* Coordinate onboarding of new contractors.
* Review candidate profiles, role assessments, and screening with hiring managers.
* Candidate onboarding and finance setups.
* Matching work assignments to staff skills or developmental opportunities. Balancing work demand and resource supply to ensure maximum utilisation of people.
* Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with the teams, leaders, and the wider stakeholder group in order to get things done.
* Advocate for the people point of view at senior leadership meetings.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Recent experience as a workforce/project coordinator.
* Experience of recruiting both permanent and contract staff.
* Planning, organising, and controlling people resources, and providing solutions for resource conflicts.
* Experience in working collaboratively to build and maintain trusted working relationships with senior stakeholders and internal leadership teams.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels from executive to team level.
