Job purpose
Provide timely, accurate,, and creative legal advice to support the Transitions business, protecting its interests in both public and private forums. Assist management in conducting business efficiently and profitably, in compliance with laws and company policies.
* Contract review and negotiation
* Regulatory compliance
* Human resource issues
* Litigation management
* Review of commercial practices
* Corporate governance
* Subsidiary corporate maintenance
* Support of global and regional marketing, marketing claims, and trademarks
* Address regulatory issues, including device manufacturing regulations, GDPR, and privacy
Your profile:
* Law degree
* Solid relevant professional experience, preferably in-house and with corporate law expertise
* Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
* Understanding of intellectual property issues, including IP licenses
* Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and make decisions balancing business and legal priorities
* Ability to manage complex workloads
* MS Office skills
* Agility and willingness to learn
* Ability to navigate a dynamic work environment and handle multitasking
* Open-minded personality
Additional assets:
* Experience in distribution and customer agreements
* Understanding of marketing and promotion laws
