An ambitious and growing SME is looking for a proactive and experienced Accountant to join its finance team. Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with clear analysis
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and day-to-day financial tracking
* Investigate and explain budget variances to management
* Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and best practices
* Partner with operational teams to support business decision-making
* Oversee financial planning for key projects and business initiatives
* Monitor capital expenditure and align spend with financial goals
* Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership and investors
* Contribute to the development and implementation of finance processes
* Support year-end and interim audits and liaise with external auditors
* Provide financial insight and advice to support business growth
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial regulations and practices
What We’re Looking For
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
* At least 2 years of post-qualification experience with hands on accounts preparation experience
* Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
* Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* A team player with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach
