We're looking for a welcoming and proactive School Administrator & Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our school community and a key administrative support for the school. This vital role ensures our school operates smoothly, efficiently, and with warmth at its heart.
What You'll Do
1. Be the professional and friendly face of our school - welcoming students, parents, visitors, and staff
2. Answer and direct phone calls, manage queries, and maintain an organised reception area
3. Provide daily administrative support to the school leaders including scheduling, data entry, and document preparation
4. Coordinate staff cover and liaise with departments such as HR, Facilities, and Marketing to support day-to-day operations
5. Support student needs such as lunch card administration
6. Maintain and update student records, timetables, and attendance data
7. Assist with internal communications, room bookings, and event support
8. Support student attendance tracking and follow-up, evacuation procedures, and general student wellbeing
9. Provide cover for the School Matron during breaks – first aid training will be provided if needed

10. Proven administrative experience, ideally in an educational setting
11. Highly organised, accurate, and efficient with strong attention to detail
12. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - calm, friendly, and professional
13. Confident using digital systems, databases, and Microsoft Office tools
14. A team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
15. Committed to confidentiality, data protection, and safeguarding
16. A fast learner, eager to contribute to a high-performing school environment
