Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Governance Specialist to manage and oversee internal control processes across global teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying issues, recommending best practices, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. They will also possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team of internal control professionals.
The role requires collaboration with various teams, including product, legal, compliance, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment on internal control objectives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to develop and implement strategies for process improvements within the internal controls function.
The Manager, Internal Controls will drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of governance and control activities. They will implement best practices and standard operating procedures across global teams and lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize product performance and risk management.
The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in internal controls and governance, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate communication and reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
