English as a Second Language (ESL) Support Specialist
As an ESL support specialist, you will play a vital role in helping students and parents communicate effectively.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Assist school personnel in communicating with parents and students who do not speak English fluently.
o Tutor students to improve their language skills.
o Help create a positive learning environment by fostering good relationships between staff, parents, and the community.
o Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
o Contribute to the efficient operation of the school by following school policies and procedures.
o Support teachers in preparing materials and activities for students.
o Perform other tasks as assigned by the principal to ensure the safe and effective operation of the school.
Requirements:
We are seeking individuals with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups. A bilingual paraprofessional must be able to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish.
