Branch Manager – Galway
Fixed term contract at AXA Ireland
Reporting to the Regional Manager
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the Branch Sales Office to achieve performance targets: sales revenue, premium & PIF growth, staff engagement, customer service excellence, compliance & quality.
Lead proactive local affinity, agriculture and commercial development, coaching staff and driving performance management.
Promote a One-Stop AXA Shop for retail and commercial insurance, supporting full resource utilisation through footfall, inbound/outbound telephony and fulfilment activity.
Facilitate customer-first convenience and self-service, eliminating inefficient branch activities.
Engage stakeholders omni-channel (MS Teams, phone, branch visit, field call) aligned to customer profile.
Support cross-functional departmental projects and provide market trend insights.
Qualifications
MCC Qualified in Personal & Commercial General Insurance (essential)
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar or financial services role with proven team management (essential)
Full clean driving licence (essential)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites – Word, Excel & Outlook (essential)
Strong network-building with key stakeholders across the business
Clear understanding of performance management, branch administration and regulatory requirements
Eligibility & Conditions
Allocated Controlled Function under Fitness & Probity Regime – enhanced background screening required.
Must be eligible and authorised to work in the Republic of Ireland.
