As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across the organisation.Job TitleManagement AccountantReporting toFinance Manager IRL & UKResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality financial insights and control, focusing on plant and sales performance, budget and forecast accuracy, and cost analysis.Lead and support budget and forecasting processes across departments.Contribute to monthly period-end closing and management reporting cycles.Perform detailed variance analysis and highlight performance trends.Calculate and maintain standard costs in SAP across multiple production sites.Analyse manufacturing performance and variances against budget and prior year.Support inventory reporting, including provisions, write-offs, and data accuracy.Act as a finance business partner to the Sales and Commercial teams.Conduct ROI analyses and appraisals for capital expenditure projects.Support SAP S4Hana implementation and continuous finance system improvements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making.Provide accurate and timely financial insights to guide operational improvements.Ensure compliance and consistency across all financial reporting and controls.Participate in ad hoc projects within the Finance and Controlling remit.Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to improve financial visibility.Travel may be required, primarily to the UK.Key AttributesQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experienceProven experience in a manufacturing or similar industry is an advantageExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailStrong problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environmentProactive and results-driven with a continuous improvement mindsetEffective communication and collaboration skillsAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial modellingExperience with SAP and/or data analytics tools is preferredAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesTeam player with a hands-on approach and strong business acumenWhat can you expect?Unilin is a fast-growing, profitable and bustling group that is active internationally.
