We are seeking enthusiastic Structural Engineers with experience to join our dynamic team. With an expanding workload across a variety of sectors, we can offer the successful candidates broad experience across a wide range of public and private sector projects.
Key Responsibilities
* A strong analytical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
* Demonstrable buildings-focused structural engineering design skills.
* A desire to work constructively in a team, finding holistic building design solutions in a multidiscipline environment.
* Performing site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and adherence to specifications.
* Ability to understand commercial implications of design decisions and desire to strive for efficient structural solutions.
* IT skills and experience in the use of MS Office. Experience in CAD and structural analysis software is an added advantage.
* The ability to communicate clearly, through sketching, speaking and in writing.
* Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance tasks and prioritise to meet strict deadlines.
Requirements
* At least 3 to 6 years structural engineering experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Minimum Level 8 Civil / Structural Engineering Degree (Hons) and working towards Chartered status with Engineers Ireland.
* Customer-focused with growing client relationship management skills.
* Ability to mentor junior staff in developing their own technical expertise.
* Display leadership qualities and a desire to develop client relationships.
* A current driver's license is desirable.
