Physiotherapy Leadership Opportunity
This is a dynamic and challenging leadership position that will play a key role in the delivery of physiotherapy services to children and adults with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical governance, supervision, and leadership to a team of physiotherapists working in Adult Services and Children's Services under the PDS model.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Providing clinical assurance and governance regarding physiotherapy practice.
* Working collaboratively with Children's Disability Network Managers and their Sector Manager, Heads of Disciplines, and Director of Service to ensure quality service provision to children and their families within CDNTs.
* Supporting CDNMs in providing clinical assurance and governance regarding physiotherapy practice and ensuring quality service delivery within Brothers of Charity Services CDNTs in Cork and Kerry.
* Leading and managing a team of physiotherapists working in Adult Services, including line management, clinical assurance, and governance.
* Contributing to strategic planning, development of policy procedures, and guidelines for the organisation and representing the Physiotherapy Discipline at management level within the organisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registered or eligible for registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapist Registration Board at CORU.
* Minimum of 5 years full-time (or aggregate of five years) satisfactory post-qualification clinical experience, including health service experience, particularly in the area of disability.
* Minimum of 5 years' full-time (or aggregate of 5 years) experience as a senior physiotherapist.
* Minimum of two years full-time (or aggregate of two years) experience of working as a physiotherapist in disability services.
* Demonstrated management competencies with clear support and supervision abilities, excellent communication skills, and follow-through on meeting professional and service standards.
* Experience in disability services is essential, preferably with both children and adults.
* Demonstrated excellent clinical knowledge and understanding of physiotherapy evidence-based practices working with children & adults.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills, demonstrating the ability to facilitate and support change management and improve service delivery and/or management is highly desirable.
Benefits:
- Salary Scale: €77,044 - €92,491 (7 point scale) per annum and pro-rata for part-time hours

- Candidates must have a suitable standard of professional attainments and requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability and management ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
- A command of the English language is required so as to effectively carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role.
- Postgraduate qualification in Health Service Management or similar is highly desirable.
