Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Field-based across ROI, with particular focus on Dublin and surrounding counties
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee our Grounds Maintenance and Winter Maintenance operations in Ireland. This pivotal role involves managing and inspiring teams to deliver exceptional services to our clients across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage the delivery of Grounds Maintenance and Winter Maintenance services across Ireland.
* Lead, motivate, and develop contracts managers and field-based teams to achieve high performance standards.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention, especially with commercial clients in a fast-paced environment.
* Collaborate with operational and support teams to optimize service delivery and drive continuous improvement.
* Create business development opportunities with existing and new clients.
* Monitor and manage financial performance, including full P&L responsibility.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Line management of direct reports.
This role is field-based with a mix of site visits, working from home, and regular attendance at our office in Swords, Dublin (twice a week) for meetings and collaboration.
Requirements:
* Leadership: Proven ability to manage and inspire teams in a field-based environment.
* Commercial Acumen: Strong business sense with the ability to manage budgets and drive financial performance.
* P&L Experience: Success in managing profit and loss responsibilities.
* Client Management: Ability to build and maintain relationships with highly commercial clients in challenging environments.
* Organizational Skills: Excellent at managing priorities and delivering results.
* Driving License: Full, clean driving license due to the field-based nature of the role.
* Flexibility: Willingness to travel across the East and Midlands regions.
